About ME

I’m Ashik.M.S doing 3rd year Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Government Engineering College, Trivandrum.

Besides being a blogger, I love reading especially contemporary novels, those of Chetan bhagath, science related books like A brief history of time etc.. I love watching films. Favourite ones are Swades, 3 idiots, A beautiful Mind, Dark Knight, Thanmaatra, Taare Zameen Par, Inception to name a few. Besides Listening to songs is my favourite past time. I never miss songs of Ar Rahaman, Sreya Ghoshal, Sonu Niigam and Vineeth Sreenivasan and the best one being "yeh jo des hai tera". Besides these, I love cooking and also driving, though not an expert or something.

I'm some one passionate about writing. Sachin tendulkar is my great inspiration so is APJ Abdul Kalam.

I Love tinkering with electronics and programming though not an expert.. I would like to become an engineer specializing in microelectronics, inshaaAllah.. 

Besides I have served as:

• The IEEE Student branch Vice-chairman of Govt. Engineering College Barton Hill for 2013-14
• A member of a trivandrum based ngo, Life and serve as its Event Manager
• Student Representative, ICTI
• Student Ambassador, Techjeeva, a startup company based on Kerala
• Technical Head, Fuseout 2013, an department technical fest
• Co-Head, Technical Events of Aagneya'14, techfest of college

Achievements:

• Recognition for exemplary volunteering at IEEE for the year 2012
• Selected for the finals of Google Student Ambassador 2013
• First prize for the project 'Clap Switch' in a competition conducted by Institute of Engineers(India) Kerala State Centre in 2008
